Follow-up, when I got there, they gave me an upgrade to a room that was similar to the one posted above. No awesome gift basket like the one from goodeats21, but I did get a huge discount on the Spa.

Going to give the hotel a try before an early flight this weekend. Mildly annoyed they don't run a shuttle to the airport, given its only 7 minutes away. It was this or the Westin, and the kids were more excited about the Gaylord. We have stayed at the Westin which is fine, but the kids don't get too excited. No big deal as my wife will take me to the airport in the morning to catch my flight. Parking fees exceed the parking garage at the airport, no idea why, but whatever.

Edit: Back after 3 weeks in Maui. Hotel was packed and apparently very close to full when we stayed. Everything was packed, the restaurants, the pool area, you name it...

So no room upgrade, however the standard room wasn't bad. The pool was super packed and while I have no idea, I think there was many visiting the pool that weren't staying at the hotel. I hate the setup for the water slides, the lines take forever and they make you wait to even climb the stairs until the person ahead of you has come out of the slide. We timed it, it takes a full 60 seconds or more for the bigger slide per person for the wait in line.

Had dinner at the sports bar, took 45 minutes to be seated despite empty tables, and while waiting it took 40 minutes at the bar to be served a 'quick' drink before getting our table. Once being seated, it took a good 20 minutes to be waited on, and another 40 minutes before the food arrived, all of which was cold for the four of us. We complained and they comped 2 of the meals. I actually liked our waitress and felt this wasn't on her, so I still tipped more than I normally would for such a crappy meal. Just seems they are severly understaffed IMO.

Just realized none of our incidental spend showed up, which was all charged to the room. I'm rusty on Bonvoy as I'm LT Gold now so maybe that is a change?

Overall, don't think I will go back and will simply stay at the Westin for early flights out of DEN.

I've eaten dinner at this resort twice, but haven't stayed there yet. Both times, the restaurants validated my parking. The last time their parking ticket reader machine was acting up and there was a line of cars trying to get out of the lot. I just drove my rental over the curb and left.

A really nice property and I will try and stay overnight some time when I have a flight out the next day.

While it's good to hear they validate if you are just eating there, the on-site parking fee is still insane to me. Those are pretty close to downtown (Denver) level parking fees at a place that is decidedly NOT downtown.

No one should have to pay for non-valet parking at a place that looks like this

So I finally spent a night here. Upgraded to what they called an extended length room or something like that in the south wing with full mountain view. The layout was like a "G" shape. Walk in and bathroom is to the right, closet & minibar to the left. Go straight ahead to a little sitting areas with TV#1. Go around the corner to the right and it opens up to the bedroom with TV#2.
4 bottles of water provided.
Due to the high cost of parking, I used Lyft. The Hilton City Center charged $49/ night valet only.
I really like this place and will stay here again the night before a flight. Everything is new & clean. The gym is fantastic.

Unfortunately at Gaylords, you're better off expecting nothing as a Titanium.

Anyone been able to reach out to Celebrity Services in the past six months or did they stop responding to that email?

This is an old thread so I hope someone hears me calling in the distance...

I've been to only one Gaylord, in Nashville, and we loved it - we didn't stay there, but rather just walked around to look, eat, shop. What we liked was that each "section" had a totally different theme which made it almost like a hotel amusement park.

Is Gaylord Rockies like that?

We will have a car, so will we have to pay the exhorbitant parking rates just to visit? (Nashville did not).

We would only be in the area one night so it seems almost overwhelming to stay there for that. But we would consider it.

Any advice?

Surprised nothing got posted at the time, but a pretty serious accident here earlier this month. 6 injured, 2 with life-threatening injuries, when HVAC duct collapsed onto the ground of a pool area.

Just completed a week here. Nothing major to update. Rooms are holding up well, still in fairly good shape.
Housekeeping daily, if desired. Staff friendly and efficient.
As typical for a Gaylord, no real elite benefit other than the arrival choice.

Indoor pool is still closed from the incident I noted above.

Shuttle to the nearby train station runs twice an hour. Easy way to get into Denver proper.
