Clark Marriott Hotel - Philippines [Master Thread]
 

Opening September 2018. No details yet re: cat or exec lounge. Clark Freezone Area, Mabalacat, Philippines.

One of the articles I read said it will have an executive lounge.

Location is absolutely inconvenient though. As awkward as Renaissance in Pattaya.

I would love to be a fly on the wall in Bethesda when they make the decision on hotels like this. "We have customers who like hookers and want to stay in a Marriott property while indulging in debauchery, but it goes against our "sensibilities". Let's open a hotel kinda near Angeles and Pattaya, but not really in them". Mormons in existential angst are fun to watch :-)

Cat 3. Does have an exec lounge; open daily.

Anyone stayed so far?

The investor is a South Korean businessman, https://www.hotelmanagement.net/kore...al-philippines seems like they are trying to develop the area.

Stayed there and as titanium elite was upgraded to fantastic 1 bedroom suite. Service @ lounge was fantastic, as were the assistance with some printing and scanning I needed. Clark is booming and there is massive development all around the area with several casinos, hotels (Hilton and Hyatt Regency), malls, theme parks, golf courses and condo projects being built.
