I'll pile on! Thank you to William and the other Lurkers! When I started on Flyertalk in 2006, you all were unique among all Flyertalk boards, and even now when many companies have reps, I still think y'all are the best! Actual responses to issues - not just canned PR. Actual help, not just a black hole for communication. And for me, I appreciate that you all are allowed to show personality when you reply on this board. Your occasional snark makes you human. I've only needed the Lurkers assistance once, but my issue got fixed - and quickly - after multiple unsuccessful rounds with the Plat. Concierge. I hope Marriott recognizes you're added value for all of us and not only keeps all of you as employees but allows you to keep doing what you do, the way you do it.

The original Starwood Lurker William was one of the best things about the SPG program. I remember there was only William when I first joined Flyertalk in 2005 in university! Now we have a team of Starwood Lurkers and they do good work. Thank you all for all the thankless work.

William especially is the MVP that started everything. The SPG program trusts him to speak on SPG behalf and we take his word interchangeable as SPG offical statements.

I met William twice at the Continental Do's and at other Starwood functions. Both Sondra and I can only think of him as a real gentleman and the perfect Starwood representative. We can only hope that he survives the merger. Thank you, William, for all you have done for us. We appreciate it!!!!!!

I've never hidden my appreciation for the Lurkers and in particular William. Now I just wish we could turn back the hands of time and go back to our happy little family before Marriott came along.

William and the lurkers are one of my favorite parts of Flyertalk. Over the years they have made my time spent at SPG hotels more enjoyable with their responsiveness and great advice. They truly set an example for the rest of the industry.

Over the years I have been in touch with Lurkers !,2 and 3 with a couple of problems and questions.Always have been treated with respect and i hope they got that back.Very definitely a factor in my loyalty to SPG.
