Marriott Bonvoy Asia Pacific - Restaurants + Bar Benefits
Staying in Asia this week and saw a card on the restaurant table showing tiered discounts for dining at participating Marriott Bonvoy properties in the Asia Pacific. I’ve seen discounts at individual hotels but it appears to be more than just a few properties. Discount range from 10% for members to 20% platinum and above.

It is a new URL for www.marriottmembersdinemore.com which, in turn, was evolved from www.spgcravings.com. Unfortunately, it is limited to EAME only.

The Members Dine More program has been replaced by the Restaurants and Bars Benefits program. This program is currently only available for participating hotels in Asia Pacific.

Current website shows the discounts end January 31, 2021. Surprised with what’s going on they would not of announced an extension. Anyone with insight in this? Heading to Maldives in Feb and the 30% sure would help ease the huge F&B prices.

That's too bad that it's ending - I've taken advantage of this regularly in China. But China is mostly back to normal so I understand why they will get rid of the program as they need to make money. But I hope they come up with something for elites. Under Starwood if I recall it was 30% off for Plats. I've eaten at Starwood 1-3 times a week for yrs under that Plat rate. I hope they don't get rid of it

I never eat at hotels usually as prices tend to be almost double the outside prices. With the usual 20% off it still doesn’t change my behaviour and at 30% I did it a few times but only to obtain a voucher to get 50% off my room rate. The only good thing about Accor was Advantage Plus and their 50% off for 2 diners. I heard Marriott had something similar before?
Service good too. I've found they're often willing to make off menu items for me and cheap.
Anyway I have a dinner party this weekend at a Hyatt to get the 3X points. I was deciding between that and JW or STR.
I do wonder if my fairly large SPG and Hyatt spend during non - stays is flagged which is why I have always been treated exceptionally well all over Asia until Marriott took over

When they extended it through January I believe it took until the last few days of December for the page to update. So Im hoping the same happens this month.

I seldom use my status for dining option in properties participate in Club Marriott which offer 30-35% off for dining. Didn't know club Marriott Thailand give much less discount.

It seems Club Marriott has hotel-specific benefits rather than being across the board, with all those in Hong Kong offering 20-30% but only around half of them seem to be participating. It also appears that you get vouchers for joining, which might make up for some of the fee, however, it does seem like a waste of time if you’re already elite level.
If on business it might make sense to meet and dine with clients but for leisure travellers, if you’re already getting lounge access, you may actually want to leave the hotel during your trip and sample authentic local cuisine!
Many hotels here are offering meals or dining credit for Staycationers, eg the JW is offering the room rate in dining credit, others are offering 3-course meals or HK$1000-2000 dining credit with with these, no 30% off so as an elite member you need to do the calculation.
