Well, sorry to disappoint everybody, but I'm actually here and it was very clear that the manager don't wanted to give us free BF at check-in, he even mentioned it, after some arguing about the past rules he allowed it "as a gesture", but he was looking unhappy.

Email address?
Anyone have an email address for the concierge or anyone else at the hotel?
We have a stay coming up in a few days and want to square away some pre-arrival items.
thank you !

Completed my stay a few weeks back - here is my review
August 2022 - 5 nights
“Hello sir. Would you like your sunglasses refreshed today?”
-beach attendant @ Bodrum EDITION
And so defines this wonderful property with ample and admittedly attractive young staff, grounds lined with olive trees perched hillside against the Aegean Sea allowing the small beach entre into its crystal clear waters. This is the anti-YETI-tumbler-soggy-college-football-caps-clustered-around-a-swim-up-bar destination if you will.
With just just 101 rooms and open only from April to October, this property has become a destination for the beautiful international Dior and Vilebrequin set, keeping occupancy over 90% it has gone from a bargain 50k/nt just a few years ago to 100k (or usd$1k+/nt). The Bodrum EDITION easily ranks as one of the top properties in the Marriott portfolio. A well executed exercise in stoic luxury.
From the moment we pulled up to the complimentary valet, a host of staff of at least 7-8 persons were waiting to warmly welcome us to a property they genuinely are proud to work at.
Check in was smooth, offered us ice cream made in house called By Design in adult flavours, thanked for being Titanium, given 1000 points and even offered complimentary breakfast although it is not an Edition brand benefit nor something offered as of 2022 at this property.
Our five nights were booked back in January 2022 by purchasing a 5-night travel package + 100k AS (Alaska) miles for 430k Bonvoy points before Marriott scuttled the TP’s altogether.
Looking at the app a few days prior to check-in we were pre-upgraded from a Deluxe room to a Deluxe Sea view room which seems to carry a +$100/nt upcharge. I would suggest anyone staying here to make sure they get a room with a view, whatever the cost - it makes all the difference.
Breakfast is served at The Kitchen with beautiful views and great food including a delightful Turkish spread, and many a La carte options, all of them very tasty. If paying out of pocket, the dishes range from 200-300TL (usd$10-$15).
There are several dining options available including Latin (Brava; the churros here are amazing!), Turkish (Kitchen), Morena and a pop up Japanese offering with very quality food. Expect to pay $100-$150 for two persons with a glass of wine and sharing a dessert.
This resort is on a hillside so be prepared to walk up and down lots of stairs. There is also a buggy available but we choose to get the exercise.
Lastly, we stayed Sunday through Thursday so it was relatively quiet. Stay over a weekend if you want to let loose a bit with DJ’s and dancing.
Pro-tips:
1. there are four day beds available near the docks that are first come, first serve without any rental fee.
2. Ask the concierge to make you a sunset reservation to eat at nearby KAHRAMAN BODRUM. Wonderful views and seafood https://goo.gl/maps/R9yCqm2EKpuEhUgR6
3. Before or after dinner at KAHRAMAN, go next door (100 meter walk) for drinks at Momo (ask concierge to also reserve this)
Quibbles:
Things are overly pricey (comparing to the St Regis Istanbul). A simple margherita pizza poolside is 380TL ($21usd). Fine.
Add some prosciutto to half of the pizza? That’ll be an additional 320TL ($18)! Cocktails are $14-$18.
Cabana prices:
€600 pool up to 6 ppl
€800 beach up to 6 ppl
€950 on the dock up to 6 ppl
€1150 on the dock dock up to 10 ppl

1. Used to be 30k pts in 2018, even lower than you thought (50k). What an insane deal that was.
2. Were the suites fully booked? You mention the hotel was quiet so as Titanium I thought perhaps you had chances of a suite upgrade.
3. Bodrum is more expensive than Istanbul in the summer so that should be part of normal expectations

Question about transport around the area.
Do taxis take cash mostly or is credit accepted as well?
How readily available are taxis in general? if the hotel/restaurant calls one up, does it usually take a while?
Are there any local apps that work in that region?

Granted it’s been two years since my visit, but back then the taxis did not take credit. It was cash only. And none of them used a local app. When called by the hotel, they would usually arrive in 5 minutes or so. Needed 15 minutes just once on a busy night when two other couples were in front of us. Overall most all the drivers were pleasant and we had no issues

Staying here in 2 days. Any recent datapoints on upgrades for titanium elites? I've already been upgraded to a sea view room and I don't expect more upgrades, but wanted to see if there's other recent DPs.
Will report back after my stay!

Have heard this was apparently awarded the hotel of the year internally in Marriott, anyone know that is true? Be interested to know who else was considered the best hotels in Marriott family
