I was there too in early September. The warehouse has a little more character in appearance. When the door attendant saw my Costco Card he knew right away I wasn't from Australia. It turns out he is from Wenatchee Washington not too far from where I live in BC.

There's four Costco in Melbourne if anyone is planning a tour! :) Docklands was the first one in Australia. Keeping on topic free parking is limited to two hours at Costco Docklands if anyone was thinking of using it for free parking while at the four points.

Any recent stay reports here?

I have upcoming stay later this month (Australian open week). My preferred hotel (westin) was sold out so i booked this hotel instead. It was way cheaper and more reasonable price than sheraton and marriott as i will be out of hotel all day long anyway.

This will be just the 2nd 4points by sheraton property in my life (after bangkok). I hope it worked well for me like bangkok property.

What is the breakfast quality like here?

I stay there quite regularly, as other have pointed out its definitely not core CBD but there is a free tram right outside and if the weather is nice its a pleasant 20-30 minute walk to CBD depending on where you are going.

I have found them pretty good with upgrades, been given suites a few times. Breakfast is a full breakfast and its fine. Eggs to order, multinational dishes etc. Nothing special but solid.

I also find the bar to be a pleasant place to have a quick drink or two and they offer local and specialty beers if youre into that
