Per UnluckySven: If coming from Hong Kong Island, would suggest taking the ferry to the Taipa Ferry Terminal and then catching the free shuttle to the JW (third stop). It's a little faster and it seemed to be less crowded then the Macau Ferry Terminal (arrived at Macau; left out of Taipa). Prices are consistent between the two ferry operators (if going first class to/from Taipa make sure you have a Mastercard as you get 20% off first class tickets).
Plats get 30% off at restaurants.

You can contact Marriott customer service, sometimes it is hotel's oversight sometimes it is system issues. Then of course these days having any real help from Marriott customer service can be a real challenge!

They have not loaded anything from July 1st onward. I have seen plenty of award nights except the weekend (Fri and Sat) between late Feb till end of June just last week. However from Jul 1st nothing is loaded.

Again, it does not hurt to spend a few min to submit an online email to bring this to Mariott attention. With SPG similar situations always get lookd at and being corrected. We can just hope Maeriott would do the right thing as well.

Been watching this hotel for some time and originally had a reservation for Sheraton Macau with a low daily rate but decided to switch to the JW Macau instead as it looked much fresher and newer, even though it was a little more expensive. My daily rate with a BRG is just 1050HKD/Night so it's pretty good.
So with only two nights I'm trying to build up an Itinerary and at the same time enjoy the pool and fake sand beach at the JW. If it's possible to swim during end of april?
Really want to experience the new HZMB and just found out that our 75cm luggage won't be a problem on the Golden buses ????
"Each passenger can only carry one piece of luggage for free [the volume cannot exceed 76 cm x 51 cm x 32 cm (30 inches x 20 inches x 13 inches) and the weight cannot exceed 20 kg (44 pounds)]."
On our back to HK we'll take one of the TurboJets to experience both alternatives. Anyone taken the HZMB and can share their experience? Found a good guide here: https://www.nextstophongkong.com/tra...e/#hk_hzmb_bus
Edit: So this is nice. According to this site there's a free shuttle from Border Gate in Macau https://www.galaxymacau.com/en/getting-here/ to JW Marriott. So that basically solves everything very smoothly. And I can use this bus for free when I need to explore Macau as well it seems.
Any help or clarification is much appreciated, thanks.

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed. Just checked out after two nights with an upgrade to Executive suite one day before arrival. Suite was big and lovely with rain shower, bathtub, two toilets etc.
The grand resort deck was lovely with a huge river like pool something going around.
We got access to the executive lounge which for us was like a dinner for free. With buffé style and do your own ramen.
Breakfast was wide and bigged. Staff were great.
Two lovely days and if we go back to Macau some time we'll surely come back.
Omw to the ferry now to JW in Hk. Traffic is a mess around Taipa though. Sitting on the complimentary shuttle and the driver has got it driving license in a package of Corn Flakes or something. Very stuttery driving..

Excellent property. Stayed here a few weeks ago for the first time -- usually stay at the St Regis Macao. Property certainly isn't as intimate at the STR, but was upgraded to an Executive Suite on the 31st floor (seems like it's an all suite floor), great club lounge, staff are good, etc. Breakfast is larger than that of the STR. It's excellent that guests get free access to the water park -- big benefit if you are travelling with your family.
Photos in post 6 are of the Executive Suite -- this appears to be the standard upgrade pool for Plats. The downside of these suites is that the bathroom is separated from the bedroom via a partially transparent sliding door, which is not good for privacy (both sight and sound). Japanese-style bidet toilet is a big plus.

Cash prices usually come down for weekdays. Book with points then review cash prices later? For 40k points you could try RC Macau but book before 4th March as it’s going up a category. Lowest category are suites but no breakfast for elites. Worth considering for 1 night maybe if 40k points? It’s better value per $.

For me services are generally same level with little edge on STR as they have much less guest than JW so abit more personalized. Go with St. Regis if you prefer quiet, butler services, and food. If you like big casinos/swimming pool/newer room/lounge go with JW. For me I always pick STR 9/10 especially with Virtuoso
