Accepting reservations as of August 15 2017. Property is already touting book your reservations for OSU graduation.
It's got an M Lounge but won't know if it's the type to be fully open daily, or breakfast daily but no evening on Fri-Sats, until property opens.
Cheers.

Are there Marriotts closer to the university? It's not uncommon for properties to stretch the geographic location & at least this property name has "area" as part of the property name, so to me it's a bit of full disclosure. Look at every single chain that says they have a "Georgetown DC" property, when all are not that close. Shrug.
Cheers.

Stayed May 2021 for first time. M Club serving breakfast 7 days per week until 10a. Decent spread with oatmeal bar and pre-made sausage/egg & bacon/egg sandwiches, plus yogurt fruit etc. Very solid coffee etc self-serve machine. M Club is open 24/7 but only other service is "cocktails" Sun.-Thurs., 5p-10p, in which I did not partake. This hotel offers access to non-elites if booked into certain room types. Breakfast was not being offered in the "MODA" bar/restaurant during my stay, but the restaurant was open for afternoon/evening drink & dinner service. Did not inquire about in-room food service. In theory, would be easy to order food from MODA and have delivered into the M Club.
Regular rooms are decent size (just shy of 400 s.f.? nice size for Marriott). Junior Suite seemed approx. 2x that size having toured one. Hotel is only 4 years old so rooms are fresh. Hotel is L-shaped, wraps around a huge conference facility and associated open-air courtyard which is not open to general guests. Rooms in the further part of the "L" face a quieter rear part of the parking lot and have a Olentangy River view but are a very long walk from the front door/elevators. Overall very good experience, friendly staff. 15 minute Uber ride (readily available) to downtown Columbus with moderate traffic, 25 to airport. Walk to OSU is 1.5 miles but not pleasant - hotel is on a road on which cars fly.
