Found these comments/reviews interesting about the Thann stuff. I'm no connoisseur of any bathroom products but really liked this and now seems it can't even be bought.

I think there are two Thanns. The original stuff and the stuff made for Marriott, and the Marriott one is stronger smelling. I can't stand the Marriott version.
Cheers. The Thann online store is also closing: https://thannonline.com/ And it looks like the products you can buy from shopmarriott are different in some cases compared to what Marriott stocks in their rooms: https://www.shopmarriott.com/categor...-hair-skincare On an unrelated note, my wife really likes the smell of the Thann products in Marriott's rooms. YMMV! |
I like the Thann stuff as well. It might be partially because I grew tired of the orange stuff from Bed Bath and Beyond that was used for so many years, but I think the Thann soap and body wash is good stuff.
|
That's funny, because I think the orange/ginger smell from Thann is much stronger than the BBB stuff.
Cheers. |
I like the orange spectacular, it just got old after a while. It was standard for nearly a decade, right? A solid 8 years or so at least.

The JW Marriott in Hanoi and Beijing both use Aromatherapy brand items in the bathroom.
I love the shampoo as it makes my hair softer than my home brand shampoo. |
I like the Aveda products at Renaissance properties. Does anyone know why some Renaissance properties now provide Tokyo Milk toiletries?
I don't mind the Tokyo Milk products, but they remind me of the Sheraton soaps. The Aveda products are better. |

However, the Thann products sold by Shop Marriott are the original, higher quality products. |

Funny...a colleague of mine, sitting next to a woman on a plane, smelled that Thann smell and asked her if she stayed at Marriotts. He was right.
|
That's a pretty bad pickup line.

The other day I think everyone in the elevator used the Thann products. They’re so disgusting. Anymore I bring my own shampoo and soap when staying at a Marriott. How I wish they would switch to another brand. Bobette |

I always bring my own products when travelling for that reason. Takes up quite a bit of space to bring your own, but worth it in the end..\

I got Bvlgari at JW Marriott HK in October
