On points stays, interestingly, the resort fee doesn't seem to be reflected. Has this now been removed on points stays or just website issues?
Also, SLS website says, in re shuttle: Airport Shuttle for a Nominal Fee

Disappointed to hear that the shuttle is no longer included in the resort fee as I was going to stay here at the end on the month. On another note, the resort fee remains the same (of course!)

I suppose I'll add some thoughts to this post as I've now stayed 3 times at this property this year.
So far, I've been upgraded every time without asking to a suite in the LUX tower, given my breakfast voucher, and then my 2 drink vouchers as a platinum alternative ammenity to make up for the resort fee. Check-in has always been prompt and courteous.
Service has been great. Had an issue on the first stay of there being no record of my BRG rate, but that was fixed fairly promptly.
Overall, the property itself is great, and will get even better once the W is finished. The beds in the LUX tower were great, great toiletry amenities and already stocked items like toothbrush, shaving kit, etc.
I get that people aren't too keen on the location, but with the monorail station right there, you can get to most places with a quick ride and a quick walk. Better than most "off-strip" properties.

A week prior to my arrival, I received an email from the SLS' VIP desk, asking for my check-in time and if I had any particular special requests. Notwithstanding my follow up 24 hours prior to arrival requesting a slightly earlier arrival time (had booked a Your24 with 7PM check-in and 7PM check-out), they still honored the 7PM check-out while having my room ready at 3PM.
Upon arrival I was escorted to the curtained-off VIP arrival area and processed there, and upgraded from a World Tower King to a gorgeous Lux Tower suite that was easily 1k sq feet, and which had a dining table large enough for me to hold a meeting with up to 6 people in attendance.
I didn't use the shuttle, but the complimentary valet parking was prompt and courteous.
I will have to agree with other posters' points about the Front Desk staff. When I had to interact with them (as opposed to the VIP desk) there were a few frustrating misunderstandings until I got to a manager. Also, if anyone is there to game, the CODE staff really don't have any clue about Starwood - having told me that they got "an hour or two of training a few months ago" about the SLS LV now being part of Starwood. For gaming, you're probably better off leveraging your SPG status at Caesar's anyway, or better yet getting MLife Platinum if you're a Hyatt Diamond and hitting an MGM property.
All told though, with the rates and the VIP treatment the SLS provided me, I'm looking for an excuse to be back there soon.

Hi All,
Staying here at the SLS LV now and can confirm there is no shuttle. Front Desk says it was discontinued on April 1st because no one was using it. I highly doubt that.
Not sure if I'll be charged a resort fee either.

I stayed here Thursday-Monday last week, and had a mostly pleasant experience. Check-in is great for SPG elites, and they were professional and courteous. I was upgraded to a World Tower King suite before arrival. Large room with a lot of "funky" to it. No closet, kinda hidden racks and shelves. Mostly white in color everywhere- headboard, bed, walls, sofa, chairs, stools. I'm really a Westin, St. Regis, Luxury Collection patron, so maybe I'm sheltered. I prefer Martha Stewart to Andy Warhol. It also took me a while to turn off the oversized mirror next to the bed. But I'm also hooked on SPG points and it was a 3x points rate. Also received points for Take Two, Wild Card, Uber, and check-in. Ended up with close to 10k pts.
The monorail was a big plus for me, as my destination was the convention center for 3 days. Convenient and friendly transportation was $25 for 3 day (unlimited access) pass. Uber to/ from airport ~$22 each way. Ate breakfast 3 mornings at Northside Cafe, and it was very good.
Lastly, the crowd was markedly younger than most all of my SPG stays- think spring break for adults. Not rowdy or crude, just young and looking to party.

My recommendation - do NOT stay here right now if you want to relax or sleep in! Right below my window in the Lux tower (20x03 corner room) is construction work, where they've been drilling every day since 7am.
I'm here on a conference and not hungover, but I can only imagine how annoying that sound would be to someone with a splitting headache - and there is no way I could sleep past 7am.

Staying right now in the Lux tower, and the front desk told me it's still running However, it only runs during certain hours (last airport pickup is 8pm), and does require a fee.

I'm here now. I emailed the VIP Concierge Representative from the airport and this is what she replied:
.
At check in (VIP desk) I was told there was still a shuttle.
Doesn't matter. I booked a round trip shuttle service at the airport for $14.50.
Upgraded to large suite in Lux Tower.
Couldn't log in to hotel wifi with my laptop ad waited 3 hours for IT help. Called down 4 times. Not cool.
My apologies, there is no longer a free shuttle. You pay use super shuttle for $11 or taxi to get to our hotel

I have an upcoming BRG stay for next week at this property.
So far my SPG number is still saved in the reservation. It was odd that I already found out that my BRG was approved, because of a re confirmation email from the property where the BRG rate was indicated, even before I got the approval email from BRG desk.
I booked the 3x SPG/20% off rate, since this was the cheapest and seemed to have the same cancellation terms as the best flex. Although I have noticed in my initial confirmation email there is clearly indicated that a deposit (= rate for 1 night, stay is 1 night) is due at time of reservation. I can not remember if this showed up when actually making the reservation.
I did not know about the pick your card promotion, so I just registered. Would I still be eligible for the 1000 extra SPG points since I already made the reservation prior to my registration? Usually this works out well for SPG promo's but I am not sure about this one.
And did anybody still get the 3X SPG points for a BRG reservation when the original reservation was for that specific rate?
Re the shuttle: I am 100% sure the complimentary shuttle is still advertised on SPG. This was the reason I choose SLS over the Westin since rates were more or less the same. I do count on the complimentary shuttle .

Did anyone else get charged a resort fee though? It's not on my final portfolio which was odd.

I was charged full resort fees for all three rooms as well as I have had zero refunds of over charged room rate from BRG so far! I am not impressed!
