We did the Vommuli Magic and I highly recommend you book that ASAP as I booked mine the second I confirmed my reservation. The night we did it, the waiter told us there were 3 people on the waitlist for that evening in case we canceled. There are only 2 beach dinners per evening and they are secluded so you don't feel like you're close to anyone and it truly feels like you're on an island fully alone. I recommend Menu 1 with the seafood + meat as the lobster that came with it was probably the best lobster I've ever had. Good luck!

Hello everyone,

Very nice to meet you all and very thankful for this thread as my wife and I just booked our delayed honeymoon for 12/15-12/20.
Will be reading through this thread for tips and suggestions on activities but does anyone know if St. Regis actually upgrades award travels?
I tried applying suite award nights and it appears they do not participate in that feature.

Thank you!

The STR occasionally upgrades. However, you are traveling during high season where the STR historically gets booked out so I would advise booking the room you want.

No they're not, they get heated by the sun, thus the pools on the sunset side that get more sun tend to be warmer.

Is room service breakfast free for Titaniums, or only in the restaurant?

Two quick questions:

(1) If anyone goes post-renovation, I would be curious what has changed? We are due to go the third week in August.

(2) One of my children has Type 1 diabetes and we have special low carb food cereals and snacks for him. Would it be an issue bringing that in-country?

Thanks!

No issue at all unless any of them are either pork or alcohol-based! The things you cannot bring into the Maldives are:

explosives, weapons, firearms, ammunition, pornographic material, materials deemed contrary to Islam including ‘idols for worship’ and bibles, pork and pork products, and alcohol.”

I'll be at STR July 30-August 6th for my honeymoon. If anyone is there at the same time and interested in creating a group for a trip on the yacht (Norma) please message me!
