Current cash back for Marriott.com: (Last updated 24-May-2019)
No changes for the past six weeks. Not the greatest offers, but not bad:
Rakuten: 2%
MrRebates: 3%
TopCashBack: Well, this is awkward:
NON-US/Canada Properties: 1-3 nights: 5% / 4+ nights 7%
US/Canada Properties: 1-3 nights: 4% / 4+ nights 6%
There are others as well. See evreward.com and cashbackmonitor.com for other current deals.
Notes:
1) If you make an LNF/BRG adjustment to your reservation you will still get cashback.

I'm not sure where you're getting until 31-Mar, but it's back to it's normal 4%/6%.

Some of the emails I get from Aloft or Delta's don't mention non-commissionable... those from Westin clearly do.

Does the lack of this phrase in a confirmation mean this reservation is commissionable? Any other way to confirm this status?

Thanks!

there is really no good way of doing this. BAR, ADV, member (std. discount), LTS, S4B and such rates are almost always commissonable. Corporate rates, extra discount rates, extra point rates and similar ... are almost never. All the other ones in-between ... hard to tell.

Take a look at Post 1478 to see what this looks like at booking time. If it doesn't explicitly say that a rate or room is non-commissionable, it's commissionable.

I was just reporting what they posted in their e-mail. Maybe they changed their minds?

Free Breakfast Promotion legit?

Not sure if this is the right thread but I got an email from Bonvoy saying "Enjoy a Free Breakfast". It says that the offer is good for 2 adults and children under 17. They said it is at "participating" hotels in U.S., Canada, Caribbean and Latin America. Anyone else get this email and have any idea if "participating" is very limiting? It says the free breakfast is valued at up to $40, so that seems to be breakfasts that one would get at the better properties.

I just did a dummy booking and it doesn't seem like the breakfast is exactly "free". The rates they are quoting that include the breakfast are $50 more than the pre-pay and save rate. Even compared to the standard member rate it is $28 more.

I just started ebates earlier this year so I'm waiting for my first one, but the payment schedule is explained here:

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking.

You visit ebates, you follow their link to Marriott, you book (you'll get a confirmation email from ebates), you actually complete the stay, some time thereafter you get another email from ebates, and then presumably get paid according to the schedule linked in my previous reply.

You may or may not need to disable ad/privacy blockers for both eBates and/or Marriott.

If your question goes beyond this I really would suggest reading the eBates site and help pages.

They usually go to 'confirmed' between 1 and 4 weeks after the stay. Then it takes however long it takes for the cashback you have used to pay you.
