That's how it's always worked. You get the remainder of the current month plus the next 3 months, so getting the challenge near the beginning of the month is advantageous.

Just have been posted my 16th night valid for Plat challenge and have been automatically upgraded 👍

I just called and enrolled in the Platinum Challenge, easy peasy. 16 nights before July 31st should not be too hard.

Does the " Road to Gold/Platinum Challenge" (from the wiki) still exist? The bump up one level? Presently Lifetime Gold and have some heavy 2nd half travel and looking to get an early bump to Platinum? If it exists, what are the present challenge requirements? Already have 14 nights / 4 stays booked.

Note I did this recently and as a LT Gold I was only offered the 16-night promo.

Ah ok. I suppose the wiki info is now outdated. After the merger things changed. Hope someone have the new criteria and can update the wiki.

I just completed the Platinum Challenge. I registered in May by calling. I checked out on Saturday with that stay pushing to 23 days in the 3 month period. My status was updated by Sunday. The sad part is that when I started the challenge, I was projected to have less than 35 nights this year. However, now I might be pushing 50 by year's end.

The new status is good through December 2020 regardless, right?
