There are too many single threads of people asking exactly what you are asking about various stays/properties.
Agreed.^

Just stayed here for a few days a week ago, the platinum amenities are still the same, breakfast at the restaurant, daily 3000 yen credit for the minibar, etc..

As for the local gift, it is a complimentary entrance to the St Regis osaka bar for 2 (only for 1 day)

The only changes are that the lounge for platinums/gold members is no longer existent or so based on the check-in staff.

So lounge access is only for those that booked a club or eligible room?

There was never a lounge at this hotel. The welcome amenity is 2 drinks at the bar or 500 points.

My partner and I just finished a stay there (2 nights)... WONDERFUL hotel... definitely the best one during our trip.

The platinum treatment was great - 3k yen per NIGHT, 2 take away coffee, suite upgrade (2 SNAs), breakfast at level 12, complimentary tea and coffee in room through your bulter. (if you order from in-room dinning, it is 1200 for one coffee....)

The service at the hotel was great - friendly and professional. We couldn't have expected more from them.

Completed a great stay 10 days ago at this property. Love the view of my room and the service I have received is impeccable.

The property is just beside the Shinsaibashi Suji which is known as a great shopping district.

I am going back to Osaka and will be staying at the St. Regis again

The location of the hotel is better than the rest of the SPG hotels IMO... great for shopping and very easy to get around. There are LOTS and LOTS of shops and restaurants around.

There is one okonomiyaki restaurant near the hotel - doesn't have English menu but the okonomiyaki is the best one i ever had. I will update this and post the name of the hotel later.

I'm considering staying here next weekend. Prices at all of the Osaka SPG hotels are about the same for that weekend. Is this the place to stay as a Plat?
