Is There a Club. . . .
and were you granted access as a Plat, or provided a breakfast alternative?
I am assuming no since it is not generally a brand standard at a Marriott resort, but I hear there are locations that are exceptions. The online chat person was non-committal either way and hung up.
Can a recent guest with status or a Marriott lurker comment?
Thanks

Hotel is not reopening until late November - they don't have an exact date yet. I have reservation the second week of November and have not been contacted yet and reservation is still active, but when I called the hotel to ask about something else they told me they would not open until late November. They didn't know what would happen with my reservation and told me to call central reservation. I called central reservations and they were clueless.

SNA experiences?
Hello,
I'm new to using SNAs, and I am looking for feedback on any success stories on using an SNA at this property. I am planning on traveling during late March.
There are a lot of different room choices available for SNAs, so looking to see what others have successfully been upgraded to.
Thank you,
Ashley

I was here at the beginning of May as a Titanium- really impressed with the look of the property. Nice and new feel, good beach and pool complex. Was upgraded to an Ocean Front room as a gold (SNA denied but the hotel was sold out). My biggest complaint was on the Titanium breakfast- you'll see in my video below what they call continental. Technically, they're following the rules, but not enough food for two. Besides that, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, especially considering what the Hilton looked like next door.

Update: they didn't have any ocean view rooms available at check-in, but they put us on a waitlist, and upgraded us on day 4 of our 8 day stay.

Lowly plat here. Has anyone ever heard of booking a room at the hotel part of the property and being upgraded into a timeshare room at the Waikoloa Ocean Club? It’s a very far stretch obviously but just thought I would ask if that’s even possible.
