how do they monitor?
I am new to buying coins...i made an acct and ordered 4 boxes yesterday....but then bought another four under guest under gfs name...same addy and billed to a different CC in my name..... how do they monitor/enforce the limit?
I would think it would say "CANNOT ORDER UNTIL: XX/XX/XX" in my acct....but it didnt...
any help appreciated...

Order name /= CC name - could cause it to fail

Keep us posted as there are reports of some "in process" going to "cancelled." Authorization is a good sign - if it does not end up a temporary authorization to be later reversed.
Aside from the possibility of a pending mint rule change this mint mess may be related to a temporary activity surge due to another article from that notorius coin heretic, Mr. JP.

Last few orders were in my hands within 4-5 days of ordering so I became a bit spoiled. I was hoping to finish off the BA spend before my first billing cycle closed so placed and order this weekend hoping for a charge/delivery this week but was surprised to see all coins backordered! I know that this may or may not mean anything, seen orders backordered before then actually ship out just a few days later versus the date posted on the website.
But..... for the first time I can ever remember it didn't take away from my available credit.
hmmm..... hope this is a simply a temporary backorder and nothing more.
