I placed an order on 1/12/09 for 2 boxes of George Washington and 1 box of Thomas Jefferson. The Tracking page says- Order Status: Your order request is on hold. The product section says in stock and reserved for the 3 boxes ordered. I am wondering if the order is going through. Does anyone have experience with this?

I ordered 750 coins on 1/1/09. The Mint order history page had my order listed as "on hold" until about 1/8 or 1/9, then it showed "in process" for a few days. On 1/14 the order was shipped, and I had trouble with the tracking number listed on the Mint page, just like everyone else. Nonetheless, the coins arrived the next day, 1/15, via ups next day air.

My native american coins arrived Saturday via USPS. That's a new one for me. I've always gotten my presidents via UPS

Wonder why they are spending so much $$ on expedited shipping. I know their margins on the coins are great, but c'mon it is a recession or worse after all...

I just got an order (it arrived on the 17th but I picked it up today) of my NA coins. This order came USPS Priority Mail while my previous 3 shipments all came registered mail but not expedited in any way. Go figure.

I just got my order of Native American coins, I orded two boxes. They were sent via UPS next day air. I was suprised they where sent overnight, would have expected ground.

The UPS to USPS method now has the USPS tracking number alive on USPS website, eventhough all it says is, USPS has received electronic notification of the shipment. It is still dead number on UPS to USPS package tracking page.

The 2956 tracking number never comes alive on UPS package ID trracking site. It also does not work on FedEx site. So who knows how the routing was?
Per the packing slip, it was shipped from Plainfield, IN.

The US Mint is definitely having problems with the website links. I received a package of 2 boxes of Native American coins early this morning via UPS after receiving an email last night that the coins had been shipped. Was surprised to see the truck because we usually receive shipments at the end of the day from UPS. The website tracking link goes to USPS next day air website and says no information received concerning this tracking number. When I manually put in the number at the UPS website it gives all the proper info. I ordered these coins on 1/5 so I'm happy they are finally here.
