If there have been successful attempts at ordering multiple sets of coins, please DO NOT post your methods here...

99.9% sure that won't happen (multiple orders). I haven't received ANY but every attempt of mine has been canceled

Should be known as the "Doub-Loon" (as in Double-Loon, since the CA$1 is the "Loonie" for the Loon on the reverse).

I think the Canadians were happy with the amalgamation of two and loonie, pronounced "too-nee."

The teller at my credit union was ecstatic to see the small batch of $1 NAs I deposited this afternoon (and I am USING the rest of the order), because she said they hadn't seen them yet, that customers were ASKING for them, and that my deposit had made a LOT of people happy today!

So not all deposits are going directly back to the federal reserve; some banks and credit unions are circulating them faster than any individual FT could (unless they own a laundromat or vending machine business).

I had the exact same experience. They actually asked if I had more still sealed up because customers wanted them.

Yesterday, I used a bunch at a hot dog stand, and I'm not sure if the vendor was happy or not. He immediately put them in the tip jar and took out bills to replace them in his "register" (which was his apron). This would normally lead me to believe he wanted them for himself, but he had an annoyed look on his face. (No, this was not a NYC hot dog stand, so please: no NYC-annoyed-look references! I'm a New Yorker!)

I love the twonie. Great nickname and, if I recall correctly, the coin itself makes use of a light, aluminum doughnut with a copper alloy of some sort in the middle. This makes the coin have a distinctive feel and lower weight in your pocket.

Its dead, all orders canceled. Moderator lock this one up.

I'm so upset and It wish it never happened. Nothing will come close to this.

Anyone know of a website where I can add my email for a free 50 miles?

I love posts like this As other people are still ordering, receiving and using ... seems like your access might be dead but its not the case for others.

+1.

Because I cannot get any more coins I want the thread to be locked...

We'll see about that. I bet a whole dollar (a $1 coin) I still can order some.
