I am surprised that NPR hasn't picked up on the Costco diamond program and Amazon payment methods to get miles. I have never done either one of those methods so I really don't care if those get eliminated.

Antique stores

I collect SWORDS and many antique stores I visit will give me a discount for paying cash. These coins are great for this purpose.

There is a sweet gal named Kathy I deal with at some shows I go to from a place I believe called Gelmans. Kathy told me that she puts these aside and usess them for vacation spending money. Her ex-husband was very cheap and never took her on vacation and she uses these for vacation travel..

Walmart is a great store. Best prices, good selection, nice employees. I would love to see Walmart branch out into banking.

Coins Ship to Hawaii

Yes they do ship to Hawaii but it takes quite a bit longer to get here. Banks here are not very happy to take them because they have to ship them back to mainland because they don't put them back into circulation. One teller told me that they are trying to find a way to stop people form doing this. I would not try any super shipments as has been posted in the past. This might ruin it for everyone here.

Well done for mentioning them all in the same sentence.

Also, the Walmart store I use don't mind accepting coins. I had to purchase about $100 and use coins with no problems. But I wouldn't do more than that as they had limited space to put them at check out counter.

Walmarts don't seem to have a consistent return policy. When I've made a return w/o a receipt, some stores have given me a GC while others have put it on one of my CCs (non-reward of course ).

And while their prices are usually good, their not always the best. If you shop around, you can often find a better price.

Asking something like this here you're likely to get a dozen different answers.
You really should just go to the mint website or call them.

Dunno, but where you gonna unload them? The banks have no easy way to offload inventory.

Does anyone know if the coin counters at TD Bank reads these coins? Seems like an easy way to deposit the coins instead of annoying the tellers. Probably a stretch, but doesn't hurt to ask.

TD Bank as well as many other large ones have been repeatedly discussed in this thread.
Read the thread to find that YMMV.

Maybe I've just been lucky:
--- I've NEVER had to run coins through a coin counter when they're gov't rolled.
--- I've had a few tellers tell me they were glad to get dollar coins because they had customers who wanted them.
