Same for me. Ordered a week ago and got the original order confirmation but nothing else. Definitely not an A+ operation.

OK, I just spens half an hour of my life on hold to get an answer why my 1/28 order had not arrived and also to check on my 2/15 order of natives.

She had to change something on the account and order for it to be able to ship on the first order from 1/28

Funny thing on the second order that is for 10 boxes of the natives. She said that they are no longer available for the direct ship program and sure enough when I checked the site a few minuted ago they are not on there other than by the roll. She did say that my order from 2/15 for them will go out, after she did some magic in her computer. They should arrive in 2 - 3 weeks.

If you have had a delay over a few weeks give them a call and wait out the hold it will be worth it.

I have been seeing commercials this week for some company selling rolls of 12 for $35 each with the collectors case! I am still using them in drive thrus and also my new use that I can't use credit cards for; Lottery Tickets! Now that the Powerball is over 150 Million I can use 10 to play each draw.....
Maybe they will grow a few hundred million golden friends!

If your CC wasnt charged then nothing to worry about

BTW I never got mine in exactly 7 or even 8 days from when ordered. Unless you paid for Overnight shipping

Just got an email confirm that my Feb 13th order for 5K in Native American coins has shipped.

All it took was a call to the order line a couple of days ago where the nice order lady told me that my coins had been "picked" for shipment on the 19th, but, for unknown reasons, had not actually shipped. She sent a message to the warehouse and said I should have my coins by Tuesday (March 3).

Here's hoping! These coins will put me over the top for a big bonus points offer.

P.S. Got an email after posting the above telling me that my order had shipped.

Follow-up to my post # 1566:

5K Native Americans arrived today via priority mail with delivery confirmation. No need to sign for the two boxes. Staggered to my car with one box at a time. Each one must weigh over 50 pounds.

I am happy!

Each box of 10 weighs 46 LBS. I've had to carry 6 of them in the last 2 weeks -- sorry, now I guess you know where the mints stock has gone.

Congrats to those who could get a huge stock ordered, but, will this cause the Mint to review their policy and "kill the golden goose"? I only order 2 boxes at a time and really hope this can continue for a long long time.

Why would the Mint review its policy because its direct ship program is working well and getting the coins out?

I pretty much put mine into circulation as fast as possible.

Now all the gov needs to do is phase out the dollar bill. @:-)

My guess is that the reason they offered 20 at a time of Native American coins is that they made a whole lot of 'em. I suspect we will see NA coins available again in the near future. As with the President coins availability comes and goes.

$5,000 arrived and deposited, 2 weeks total time

I ordered 20 boxes of Native American on President's Day (02/16), they all arrived exactly 2 weeks later (03/02). 2 boxes each one is about 46 pounds, so 92 pounds for all $5,000. Each of those boxes has 10 smaller boxes with 10 rolls at $25/roll. Took them to the bank, freaked them out a bit, but they gladly took $5,000 in a deposit. Total time to order took 2 minutes, I called U.S. Mint once to check on it (02/25), took about 15 minutes of hold time (did other things while on speakerphone) and another 2 minutes to confirm that order is indeed going through. Did not need to sign for the UPS, it was sitting waiting for me. Took about 2 minutes to load into my trunk. On the way to work, stopped a bank that is connected to a grocery store that way I used the cart to roll 92 pounds of metal. There was no line in the bank, it took me about 10 minutes to open up every box to "verify" that there are actually coins in there. Posted as "cash" deposit in my bank instantly and can be withdrawn, transfered or wired at any point now. All and all about 30 minutes of my time, to me this is worth it. I value this in benefits (points to be spent at Conrad) at around $150 not including the interest float for about 20 days. I hope this answers a few questions for anyone who may care about the program.
