I assume this thread is not closed.

My question is how could one possibly( order that much coins to) accumulate that many miles?

Finally an answer

One Jan 30th I placed an orderd for 8 boxes - 2 each of 4 different coins. Last week I called and was told the ordered was being processed. I called again today and they said they had to verify some informtion, the address, and was then told the order was be shipped in a few days. My address was correct. The rep initially said I she was going to transfer me to "level two customer service" and then said she could complete the verification. This is my first order, I hope the rest of them don't take so much time. Point are one of my hobbies, so It's not a waste of time, but frustrating.

The Mint allows two boxes ($500) per president and twenty boxes ($5000) for the Native American coins.

Went to order my Native American coins and interestingly, it now shows as unavailable, although John Adams is back up.

I ordered 500 last Thursday without an issue. Maybe I'm getting the last run of them :-)

I hope not. I bought 8 boxes Sunday, late morning. My confirmation says they are in stock, so it's a waiting game now.

Ordered $5K Native Amer on Feb 13. Called on Feb 25th to automated line and got message that order was "in processing."

Appears to be a little too long for "processing."

Might have just switched status from hold to processing. I've had orders sit for a month on hold before finally switching to processing, and then being sent for delivery some time within a week of that.

At any rate, two of my most recent orders seemed to be released for shipping (I also have some other orders out there getting close to a month old, but, sitting in limbo). Ordered every coin available at the time ($7500 X 2) in each of these recent orders. Looks like both had the native coins dropped out, but, I never did receive a line item cancellation on either order.

According to UPS $2500 X 2 orders is going to be sent to my office today. The mail-room guy nearly broke his back when I got 18 boxes of natives ($4500), with the extra 2 boxes this time, he is going to hate me...

Do it in smaller orders. I made my orders in boxes of 3 each so that my parents don't break their backs.

Well... they do have those mail carts, and the mint never ships more than 10 boxes in a parcel -- that by itself weighs 46 LBS according to the shipping label.

Or at least tip him a coin or two, but only if you have enough to spare.

I used Native American coins for my charity donation at IHOP last night (free pancakes, requested donation to CMN). I'm down to less than 100, so I need my current order to come in before my next trip to LAS.

Still the case... I ordered a week ago, and no shipping confirmation yet (and no way to find out status).
