I got the survey.

I did not fill it out because I don't believe them when they say my answers will remain confidential.

I believe they will be posted on wikileaks, thereby exposing me to hit squads from Amex and BofA.

....and maybe even Drum Drum.

oh definitely bofa.
I ordered an extra $6k in coins from my C1 card and brought all $6k of them to one bofa branch that I have never been to before because I was 1.5hrs from home today visiting friends and it was there, and I know the Godz of bofa are now watching me. The teller did not mind, but you never can tell with them--often times bofa tellers have no personality because it's a policy-only based transaction bank and that is that.

the $6k = 12k c1 miles, which, if you add that to the 25k I could have gotten this camera for when redeeming with them, it would equal the 37,000 points I did end up redeeming instead. So the $6k was a useless pile of coins but at least the teller at BofA was cute so I got that out of it.

Seriously? I never would have thought the human mind could be inundated with that amount of useless information and not explode, or implode, or just shut down. I admire your perseverance though and hope you have not suffered any permanent damage other than the time you'll never get back.

Only 379 pages for me. Doesn't make sense to quote page numbers here. Everyone has their posts per page set differently.

exactly. I have written half the useless dribble that's in this thread. They needed to buy a new server cuz of me but when they asked me to split the cost I gladly used my SPG card to pay for it so I would get points But then they told me they would not accept CCs so I sent them coins instead.

Well I have been following it and doing coins since the beginning--with a break in there somewhere. And, if you ask my friends and family (and most of the posters in here) I have in fact lost my mind due to coinz.

Especially as useless posts like this... and THIS continue.

Of the 1010 (by my count) pages so far,
--- there's maybe 3 pages of actually useful info,
--- 500 pages of "I ordered on x and got on y" (and not that's no useful as YMMV),
--- 500 pages of "Does X card bill as a charge or CA???" and replies to read the sticky,
and 7 pages of other nonsense like "I'm posting to see if I hit page 1000," and my current post.

No wonder this thread was shutdown. And if we keep it up it will likely be shutdown again and 2000 will remain a dream.

Does mint track the coin purchases by credit card only or by mailing address
What if you create another account and use other Gift card and have coins shipped to same address ?

How about you first read the FAQ before posting your questions ... Check the very first post in this long thread (or the last page or two, as it's been referenced recently in a few occasions).

Yes i did read the FAQ. And it says its unknown that's why i'm asking if other people have any experience around this recently. Also the FAQ has material which is out dated

eg :It says that 10 days from when you submit the order but its actually 10 days from when last order was shipped.

Again i have gone through the thread and its still not clear to me and hence checking

My personal experience has been CC or GC. Feel free to ask your questions if you can't find the answer. IMO 99% of those on Flyer Talk seem very interested in helping others.

I should have added GCs work very well.

No.

It is 10 days from when you submit your order (more precisely when the card is authorized). This has been "corrected" here over and over and over and over again. The FAQ is quite correct.

Don’t confuse helping with spoon feeding.
