BofA cards can be used at the post office. They are debit transactions and require you to enter a PIN. Some other Visabuxx cards (including USBank) are treated as credit card transactions, do not require a PIN, and thus can't be used at the post office.

Also with daily limit of 100 cash at Bof A, how cost effective is the MO route?

As far as BofA, I believe the $100/day limit is enforced for ATMs but not with PIN based debit transactions.

USBank calls it a debit card, but the only PIN transactions it will allow are ATM withdrawals. You can't use it at the post office or places which don't accept Visa cards (such as Costco).
BofA limits ATM withdrawals but not purchases.

So essentially one can get a 998.75 MO (+1.25 for the MO = $1000) at the Post office about every 15 days with the BofA Visabuxx cards since you're limited to reloading $1500 every 15 days; the card limit is $1000; and it's more cost effective to load in $1000 increments ($3/load) if you use a non BofA cc.

So that would mean it costs $4.25 for 1000 miles?
Is my math correct on this?
