Walgreens - Cash or Debit Only for GC?
 

Today the clerk at my goto Walgreens said the new policy is cash or debit only for the $20-500 GCs. Asked if this was a company policy and she said she did not know but had been told the same at another Walgreen's she works at. Apparently this is quite recent, perhaps within the week. Any other confirmation or is this a case of some South Florida regional manager running amuck?

Pei dropped the weekly max to $1 so no reason to buy there IMO. I last bought a vgc from about 2 weeks ago w/ CC and no issues, but as you said could be recent development.

I agree with u, I last bought VGC on Monday with my cc and found out only got 100 pei point, no need buy gc from Walgreens or CVS for me anymore. Lol

Business as usual at my regular Walgreens in Utah.

My first walgreens VGC purchase with apple card was good. How long does it take to activate? I usually buy from CVS across the street and liquidate instantly across the street at my grocery store.
