Selecting "credit" for VGCs paying online

For online payments anyone try selecting "credit" for MB VGCs.

Got some medical bills to pay and it's only credit or bank account.

It certainly can’t hurt to try it....

Didn't work using fixed $100 MB VGC. Oh well.

I don't think I understand the question. "Credit" is usually the default for on-line payment. Paying with "debit" seems to be the hard part.

Regardless, you usually have to register your vgc to be able to use it on-line. If you didn't do that, you might give it another shot. If you did register, then I'm out of ideas. Good luck!

Almost all medical bills can be paid directly with a credit card.
What would be the advantage (other than liquidating GCs you can't dispose of any other way) of using a GC for such a payment?

Got a pile of $100 and $200 GCs. Just looking for additional ways of liquidation.

Strange that it didn't work if you registered it. I have used mine in many different accounts/scenarios for paying a bill online where a credit card was accepted.
