Stores that sell $500 gift cards(2019)

Heading to South Jersey area (Camden County) for a week.
Was hoping to pick up some $500 VI or MC gc's but looking at the WIKI, it appears as if this will be unlikely.

Am I missing something?

Is Philadelphia any better?

Thanks!

I don't think the WIKI is an exhaustive list. You should be able to find something. Are you looking for any store that sells $500 gc, or looking for a specific category like grocery store, drug store, etc?

supermkts will be a problem, the friendly chain isnt located in that area. Yet drug stores, Wallys, Simon are to be found but with some driving involved, -4s as always a YMMV

Does AX mean AmEx?

Remember that AmEx GCs do not have PINs.

Yes, AX = Amex

if I strike out with VI and MC I can still use the
AX for regular spend with a positive spread

Have several Discovers to feed

Is there a grocery store in south/central Florida which sells 500 GC? The well known chains either do not take CC or only have lower denomination GCs. TIA.

If you have a Winn-Dixie near you, try them. They've been hit or miss for me.

Recently relocated to the MSP area and realize I am now without my reliable neighborhood Safeway. I imagine I can piece a bit together from the Wiki and trial and error - but any first-hand experience getting GCs from grocers? Unless I missed it, Cub isn't anywhere on the list.

Most flavors are ok as I'm pretty small-time and category arbitrage is usually good enough.

Anyone has experience buying US Bank VGC? There customer service phone number always can not make through, and we have to call to change pins! Anyone know why?

Newb Question

Newb question here:

My local Kroger has US Bank Visa Gift Cards that say $20-$500. Is that what you guys mean by $500 gift cards? Or are there non variable $500 VGCs the same way there are $100 or $50 fixed value VGC?

Correct. Only variable VGC/MGC you can load up to $500. Fixed ones max out at $200.
