Signing up to buy $1000 visa/mc gift cards
You can buy the $1000 cards on Simon's volume site. Their regular site only sells $500 cards.
If you're new, or haven't bought anything in a year, you need to register at https://www.simon.com/volume/register-consumer
As part of the registration process, you will have to go to a brick and mortar mall and buy at least $3000 in cards in person, as well as filling out some paperwork while there. After that, you can do everything online.

As of Nov 2020, Simon Mall Gift cards will only work for $99/swipe for money services at Walmart and many grocery chains.

$1000 gift cards are available indefinitely.

appreciate the response. at that point, i might use it at a 5% vendor. you get another $50 bonus. you typically cant get 1k 5% visa cards. glad taxes worked for you though.

Had a $1K card from my last order comprised the day after I activated them. It was used to purchase $991.45 in Coach bags from their website it seems. Rep told me 30-90 day turn around time on investigation and decision.

New promo

SM online order fans, check your email: There's a new free shipping promo from SM. Minimum of 10 cards/order. The code is: NEWCARDS. There's no mention of a maximum number of uses. Rewardcard offer Not available in NY.

The offer says only available for "business to business" orders, not sure what that means.

PS: code only works for the new card designs

im pretty sure these cards are not meant for MS. these are for some other use which i dont know about, but i believe they come with a monthly fee. based on the E-Mail address, it seems to be an auto message which wouldnt apply to our game. typically, shipping promo e-mails for MS come direct from a simon rep. im sure you have all received his emails.

EDIT PSA: Simon Rewardcards are NOT to be used for MS. Confirmed via Simon rep directly. Hence the "auto-promo email" vs the usual direct email. These are meant to be used for various business promo purposes only.

Probably just not available on the type of accounts they give to "gamers". I don't see it either.

true. but in the post earlier by 808traveler it sounded like OP was able to see the discount applied. or maybe they were simply referencing the T&Cs. not sure. doesnt really matter i guess since there are other codes still working.
