Blackhawk Network Holdings Inc. HAWK, +23.15% said Tuesday it has agreed to be acquired by private-equity firm SilverLake and P2 Capital Partners for about $3.5 billion in cash

While the news is fuel on the uncertainty fire that surrounds MS, I doubt any changes will occur in the short term. And if those in power bought Blackhawk on its merits as a profitable business, I don't think any major changes are in order. Unless I am missing something, I think that the VGC business is profitable and will stick around. But, I will be stocking up

This maybe linked to GC.com blocking cash backs.
BH wants to show to buyer how profitable they’re. I’ve seen it in different examples.
