Unfortunately this promo coincides with rollout of a new SKU. One store had empty slots for all variable MCGC.
The other store had new SKU on the racks but register did not recognize them. It’s a horizontal pinstripe design .

Tried same Safeway with the new pinstripe MCGC to see if they could be purchased today.
Nope, still not a recognized SKU at the register.
Did some shopping, came back to find them pulling all the pinstripe MCGC off the rack.
"We are going to have to toss these, because they won't work."

Tried to buy a $500 variable purple present MC and it didn’t work. Guessing it’s ymmv per store, but the CSM manually gave me the $10 off so that was pretty cool.

In AZ its working fine. Only purchased blue MC since it looks most believable as a debit card.

Bought a $500 VL MGC at a Safeway in Northern Virginia today and got the $10 off, no problems. Store had plenty of the old gold color US Bank MGCs in stock.

What is the limit at Vons for VGCs? Never been but traveling to a city with plenty soon.
