In a rare instance I had a One vanilla visa(Bancorp) fail me at Kroggies so I took it to Safeway and bought a Meta visa...then liquidated at WM...I was out 5.95 but got rid of it quickly

I've been out of this loop for awhile and had let my Sam's membership expire after maxing out last year’s Discover. I rejoined using the Amex Offer and excitedly/reluctantly bought a couple of $250 MCGCs today. I was under the false impression that I could liquidate at Publix. Nope. Tried two locations and got the same Not Authorized message that I’d gotten at Kroger (even though that had been the case in the past at Kroger, I tried again today without success). These are MetaBank issued.
I’m curious if these can be liquidated at Albertsons or Stater Bros. since I’m about to head to L.A. and could try them there. Open to other options. Thanks in advance!

I had a few MCGC orders through TCB in January, didn't get the 1.25%, lodge claim on incorrect cashback. Still waiting. The 1% already became payable. For February orders TCB pops up a notice that the 1.25% will be added in when confirmed by Giftcards.com.

Is BillPay at KMart still functional to get rid of these quickly? I want to use up three of my Discover card bonuses. Thanks.
EDIT: Nevermind, when I went they only had two $500 cards and when they tried to scan them, the system denied it. Bummer.

Yeah, I was bummed. It actually got turned on yesterday evening as it happened in between some of my purchases. Got some emails for $20.xx and then others only had $5. I didn't notice it until I was looking at my emails to make sure I wasn't going to go before the 24 hour clock expired and noticed the $5 amounts. Oh well, it was a good run while it lasted. I'm actually surprised it lasted as long as it did.
