This is the thread for 2018. The previous discussion can be found here.

Giftcards.com (and giftcardmall) now limit Visa loads to $250. No more $500 cards, Change happened sometime in 2020.

Check cash back portals to help cover the fees. Around the holidays there is usually free shipping. http://www.cashbackmonitor.com/cashback-store/giftcards.com/

Limit 5k/ every 48 hours (2 orders under 2.5k including the fees). However, system will reportedly "error out" if more than two orders are attempted within two days.

Cards must be activated before use. Orders usually arrive in 5-7 days.

Select the free letter on the left instead of paying for a card on the right of the screen to save money.

Warning: Orders can be lost or stolen. Call to have them reissued.

Good to know. I am starting to get the error about being over the limit, but it does go away after 2 days.

Looks like VGC were 1.25% for March only. Bummer.

Since today GC.com VGC is listed as 1.25% at TCB.

Edit: it's also tracking at 1.25%

SBC is alright. They take a while but I haven't had issues with them tracking and paying.

I'd be more than happy with a consistent 2%, but instead we get 1%

What's the consensus on chase products and gc.com (specifically, CIP)? Is it generally recommended to stay away from gc.com with chase (or even amex)?

in my experience, Amex still awards points, even though they say they won't. MS for MSR might not get you your bonus, although it's still YMMV.
