This is the thread for 2018. The previous discussion can be found here.

Giftcards.com (and giftcardmall) now limit Visa loads to $250. No more $500 cards, Change happened sometime in 2020.

Check cash back portals to help cover the fees. Around the holidays there is usually free shipping. http://www.cashbackmonitor.com/cashback-store/giftcards.com/

Limit 5k/ every 48 hours (2 orders under 2.5k including the fees). However, system will reportedly "error out" if more than two orders are attempted within two days.

Cards must be activated before use. Orders usually arrive in 5-7 days.

Select the free letter on the left instead of paying for a card on the right of the screen to save money.

Warning: Orders can be lost or stolen. Call to have them reissued.

I also got the same email but when I looked on the TopCashBack site it shows that only eGift cards will earn 2%. Physical Gift cards are still 1%. I am wondering if the MC egift card will work on Plastiq? Any data points?

Kinda annoyed by the email. If they dont honor the 2%, then Im paying a lot in fees/shipping for no reason.

Im sticking with Yz. TCB has been too much of a headache.

We are not using TCB either and the fine print said 1%.

It is bummer GC has a 30K limit. GCM is also 30K.

I don't know where you get the 30K limit from. It's not on https://www.topcashback.com/giftcards/ . Source?

The fine print also say "VISA gift cards are not eligible for cashback. MasterCard purchases will still earn cashback" but the headliner says 0.75%.

So the fine print isn't really updated too often, it's been out of date in the past too.

TCB t&c for GCM says $30k. For GCcom it says $60k.

We use Yz at GC and BF at GCM and those sites post limits. I might test GC for 2% cashback. Any more datapoints?
