Giftcards.com (and giftcardmall) now limit Visa loads to $250. No more $500 cards, Change happened sometime in 2020.
Check cash back portals to help cover the fees. Around the holidays there is usually free shipping. http://www.cashbackmonitor.com/cashback-store/giftcards.com/
Limit 5k/ every 48 hours (2 orders under 2.5k including the fees). However, system will reportedly "error out" if more than two orders are attempted within two days.
Cards must be activated before use. Orders usually arrive in 5-7 days.
Select the free letter on the left instead of paying for a card on the right of the screen to save money.
Warning: Orders can be lost or stolen. Call to have them reissued.

MGCs were paying .25% more in CB. It does make it more difficult at WM if your cashiers aren't familiar with you.
SIde note: one of my accounts I haven't made a purchase in the past 3 days is getting a 'you are 24xx.xx over the daily limit. Please lower your denomination to xx.xx'
GC.com used to be such an easy way to buy but now they are really turning into a PITA.

Has anyone been able to order over 2k at a time? I know I have tried before and it wouldn't let me, but I tried again last week, and it let me order 8k at once and I got them a few days ago. Tried again just now and it says the same 2.5k max. One time fluke???

I think there are some system glitches with GC.com right now. One of my accounts I haven't been able to put in an order for a week as its telling me I'm over my daily limit. I think if you got a >2.5k order you just happened to catch one of these glitches.

Did you remove your CC from the old accounts? Maybe their is a new limit that has been programmed recently. I order from 2 accounts about 15K per each a month.

They still list 1% for VGC for GC.com, but I've been getting 1.25%. Not much, but it's another $5 every $2K order, so it does add up over time. Will report if they pay it out or if it will be 'corrected'
