Giftcards.com (and giftcardmall) now limit Visa loads to $250. No more $500 cards, Change happened sometime in 2020.
Check cash back portals to help cover the fees. Around the holidays there is usually free shipping. http://www.cashbackmonitor.com/cashback-store/giftcards.com/
Limit 5k/ every 48 hours (2 orders under 2.5k including the fees). However, system will reportedly "error out" if more than two orders are attempted within two days.
Cards must be activated before use. Orders usually arrive in 5-7 days.
Select the free letter on the left instead of paying for a card on the right of the screen to save money.
Warning: Orders can be lost or stolen. Call to have them reissued.

For some reason, I still have a problem with completing orders. Tried different browsers - the same result. I press "submit order" - usually, it says "order submitted, blah-blah". Now - just a main page of gc.com, and all my stuff is in the cart. However, orders were submitted, but so far nothing was tracked, which is a bad sign.

Typically you won't get any cash back from the portals if you use a promo code.

Had an order of 5 vgc that came in, some of which had defective mag stripes. Tried a few cards at a few different stores and kept getting card read errors on the CC terminal.
1 of the 5 worked last week at WM without issue.
Called GC.com yesterday and they are re-issuing. 5-7 biz days for the new ones to get to me. Guy was pretty helpful on the phone.
Just a DP and a cautionary tale!

Had an order of 5 vgc that came in, some of which had defective mag stripes. Tried a few cards at a few different stores and kept getting card read errors on the CC terminal.
1 of the 5 worked last week at WM without issue.
Called GC.com yesterday and they are re-issuing. 5-7 biz days for the new ones to get to me. Guy was pretty helpful on the phone.

Well uh this is bad. My first ~10 orders (ramping up to $500 gc's) went thru without a hitch, then the next order took an hour until the e-mail came saying it was cancelled, then the next three were immediately cancelled, including the last which was a $25 Applebee's card. WWYD?

Used to do high volume MS with Citi Exec, WF, etc back couple years ago...all in person. Moved to Nashville, TN and the options for physical GC are much more limited in my area of town.
Just got approval for cards to hit bonus for SW CP and I'm 5/24 so looking to get back into the Citi AA churn. Suggestions from this crowd for GCC vs GCM? This will be exclusive min spend MS (hopefully) 4-8k/month, no cashback portals, etc. Don't have time to do high volume to make it work. Liquidation at WM still seems ok here, but I also would love to just do Citi debit if at all possible. Any recs appreciated.
