This is the thread for 2018. The previous discussion can be found here.
Giftcards.com (and giftcardmall) now limit Visa loads to $250. No more $500 cards, Change happened sometime in 2020.
Check cash back portals to help cover the fees. Around the holidays there is usually free shipping. http://www.cashbackmonitor.com/cashback-store/giftcards.com/
Limit 5k/ every 48 hours (2 orders under 2.5k including the fees). However, system will reportedly "error out" if more than two orders are attempted within two days.
Cards must be activated before use. Orders usually arrive in 5-7 days.
Select the free letter on the left instead of paying for a card on the right of the screen to save money.
Warning: Orders can be lost or stolen. Call to have them reissued.

Trying to get in some more SPG points before August, but I'm not following the math on this:
$2500 max charge (4x $500 + 1x $450 in MC)
$7.95 fee per card
$7.95 shipping
1-1.5% cashback.
Total cost per card is around $4.55, no? Why go through the hassle of ordering when you can buy instantly at WM for $0.40 more? Save the hassle of cashback portal delays (and risk of no pay out), can buy Visas.
What am I missing?

Agree if you're getting it that cheap. How are you getting fees down? I don't see any info in wiki on that. I've done lots of orders with GCM in the past, but never with GC.com

OK. Yazing pays 1.5% on MasterCards. Only use giftcards.com, giftcardmall.com is useless now. I order 4x $500 & 1x $460 at a time, twice a day so with fees and shipping, 5k a day. $6.95 per card fee plus $7.45 shipping per order. $2502.20 per order. $42.20 in fees & shipping. Yazing pays $37.50 On that, so essentially you are paying $1 per card. Multiply that x 10 cards per day for 5k daily limit. Say you do that only once a week..... $40 savings??

you need to use a 3%..5% or 6% grocery card. Some are limited. I quit buying on the GC sites when the 1% came into play. Just expand out your radius of supermarkets and make sure they have stock on the 500.00 cards. But don't go crazy. You need many cards. Discover Miles for first year unlimited..Some Amex cards are great. Especially the older ones. plus some credit union cards have 3% in grocery. And you get instant gratification.. No waiting for mail..will I get my payment?..did it track.?. limits etc .And grocery cards are VGC..easier to liquidate.
