This is the thread for 2018. The previous discussion can be found here.

Updated Nov-2018: A lot of the personal Visa CCs are out at Plastiq. They will be treated as cash advance and won't receive any rewards. Only Capital One personal Visa CCs are not affected. Business Visa CCs are still good. The best CCs are Mastercard and Discover. AmEx CCs can still be used, but not on many of the payment types. Chase personal Visa cards are limited to the cash advance limit (typically 20% of CL). The details are listed as below:
https://help.plastiq.com/hc/en-us/ar...l-Card-Changes

Plastiq Fees:
The standard Plastiq fee is 2.5%. It makes most of the reward programs not profitable. Use Plastiq to meet welcome bonus spending requirement or to meet certain spend requirements to reach elite status or for large spend bonus. Also take advantage of Plastiq referrals and promotions.

Plastiq Referrals:
Standard Referral: When you refer your friend to Plastiq, after your friend charges $500 or more, your friend will get $500 FFDs (fee free dollar) and you'll receive $1,000 FFDs to spend.

Delay in Plastiq payment

I did a couple test payments in Dec and Jan to test the waters before I made a full mortgage payment to my credit union in the Midwest. The first payment was delayed 11 days likely due to holidays at the end of the year and possibly a different zip than the payment stub. The second payment was a day early than their guarantee. I figured I'd give it a week cushion since I had a two week grace period after my due date.

Payment processed 2/14, sent 2/15, and was to be delivered on 2/23. Called my credit union and they said they haven't received anything. Is this typical of Plastiq? Going forward I'm probably going to give them a three week cushion, but that just seems excessive.

Anyone else experience this type of delay?

Seems to have died around 2/16 according to the blogs. Anyone got a DP after that date?

It has been reported today that ATTAM no longer codes 3x for PPDG GC purchases. Does anyone have any recent Plastiq DPs? Thanks

So, to be clear, your WFB mortgage coded as MISC GOVT SERVICES but failed to earn 3X on ATT AM this month? If so that is a huge change that basically kills this card (on Plastiq).

I had the same thing this month. WF mortgage, coded as MISC GOVT SERVICES but only earned 1x on Citi ATT card. Last month it was 3x.

Different bank, but my mortgage payment also changed to 1x this last statement when it earned 3x the month before. Also coded the same way.

Damn, in my group of friends, plastiq payments to pay Citi, WF and US Bank along with various utilities coded as 3x last month but this month we only got 1x. Way over 5/24 to consider CIP. Damn!

Still looking for a DP on rent payment with ATTAM through Plastiq. Not very optimistic given reports on mortgage payments.
