Updated Nov-2018: A lot of the personal Visa CCs can't be used at Plastiq. Some will be treated as cash advance and won't receive any rewards. Only Capital One personal Visa CCs are not affected. Business Visa CCs are still good. The best CCs are Mastercard and Discover. AmEx CCs can still be used, but not on many of the payment types. Chase personal Visa cards are limited to the cash advance limit (typically 20% of CL). The details are listed as below:
https://help.plastiq.com/hc/en-us/ar...l-Card-Changes

Plastiq Fees:
The standard Plastiq fee is 2.5%. It makes most of the reward programs not profitable. Use Plastiq to meet welcome bonus spending requirement or to meet certain spend requirements to reach elite status or for large spend bonus. Also take advantage of Plastiq referrals and promotions.

Sometimes, special bonuses are available, check here or your email for these (example: This month only, submit up to three payments ($10,000 or less each) and benefit from a 1.5% Plastiq fee)

Plastiq Referrals:
Standard Referral: When you refer your friend to Plastiq, after your friend charges $500 or more, your friend will get $500 FFDs (fee free dollar) and you'll receive $1,000 FFDs to spend.

My scheduled chase mortgage payment failed to process this month. Looks like game over for me.

I used CIP. It worked fine last month and earned 3%

My last scheduled mortgage payment went through with my AMEX, but trying to schedule more with my AMEX cards stopped working.

I've used Metabank Fivebacks w/ no problem. Processes like a credit card though (2.5% charge).

Anyone else get a solicitation today offering $5,000 fee-free dollars (essentially $125 off) if you spend $50k through Plastiq this month?

CIP is coding as 3x for rent and renters/car insurance. Both paid on 1/15/18.

I just tried to use Amex Delta for the first time to pay American Educational Services (student loans) through Plastiq. It said it won't accept Amex for AES when it automatically was recognized as a payee by Plastiq. I then manually entered the "Bill Payer" address as published by AES (which is different from the official AES address on record with Plastiq) and had a check sent. It should be received in a week or so. Might this work? I tested with $100 but am hoping to run the MSR of a new CIP and the rest of the Amex Delta like this (about $5500). Are there any problems with CIP, loans, and Plastiq these days?

Manual entry will work as long as it's not a big amount. Big ones go to review and might get asked for documentation. CIP codes as 3X.

How much is a large amount? Can I break it into multiple payments over a few weeks? I want to Put $2000 on Amex and $3500 on CIP. Plastiq asks for documentation? I can show them documentation of my loans, no problem. Does this apply to just Amex or both of these cards? Thank you!
