Anyone know where to buy BTC/crypto with a CC for less than 4%?

Any way to buy it with VGC's?

(I know most people will have a 'crypto is risky' type of reaction but I invest in it anyway and I'm fine with that part. But I am not fine with losing money on the transaction. I want to at least break even on rewards/fees)

Why not CC -> VGC -> MO -> bank -> exchange?

heh no benefit there, i'm trying to find an alternative to buying MO's and putting them into banks, both of which can be difficult in bulk.

Not really any other way then. Only thing would be to buy GCs, then sell on LBC, but I imagine the spread is more than 4% there.

Have you tried using Binance? They do offer direct purchase with CC. Is the spread much larger there?

Thanks, ya Binance is a compelling option for non-Americans. Fees are 2.5% I believe. For Americans it's closer to 4% with Binance US though.

I see now your original idea would be good for those wanting to buy crypto with a CC, or buy w/ a CC and avoid cash advance fee's. That's not my aim here, I'm trying to do MS/churn (so zero or low fees are a priority), but I'd agree that would be a good way to do that, for those who may find this later.

Heads-up for anyone thinking of using a PenFed card for this, received a terms update that enumerates "cash-like transactions" that will be treated as cash advances. The laundry list includes "purchases of cryptocurrency." (This was for the PenFed Platinum Rewards Visa but I'd be surprised if it's different for their other products.)
