Read multiple posts from various blogs that payments of mortgage/rent via plastiq are not eligible for 3x bonus UR points anymore, starting Today or yesterday. What is your story?

I'm only surprised that it lasted as long as it did!

Got four payments through on my CSR and just changed my card to CIP this morning to try and push one more through since there are some reports that CIP might still be working. Hopefully they don't close that loop before tomorrow when the payment is processed.

Does anyone have ATT card? What has been causing the 3x trigger ? Does plastiq rent /mortgage code as online travel or online purchase?

I wonder if the att card will be affected with this CSR change

I signed up for 6 months scheduled payments when Plastiq offered me the first month fee-free; I'm sure many others have done the same. So far, I've made 2 payments so that's 4 more to go. Now that 3x is dead, I want to cancel the remaining 4 but I worry about being charged the first month's fee. Has anybody tried cancelling the schedule, and did you get charged?

Why would you not cancel? What is the upsize to continue paying the fee 4 more times for ony 1x points? By canceling - worst case is that they charge you the one fee, which was a profitable transaction even without the fee waiver. Each future payment will be losing transactions.

Yup, my mortgage interest payment that had been getting 3x just got 1x. Should have made it a week ago. Oh well.

I asked about canceling it. She said that I could, but the check had already gone out, so I'd have to get the lender to not cash it in order to avoid a stop payment fee (and whatever issues it might create for the lender). Not worth it.
