This would be huge if it sticks. 3x UR points on CSR>3x on Citi in my household.

One of the few times I'm "happy" that my rent is $3k / month. Can rack up some serious points with little effort using CSR if this sticks.

Which bank is your mortgage with? I think it may be YMMV based on that.

US Bank... and from reading info on other blogs it doesn't appear to be bank specific. Plastiq codes it as travel. for how long? Who knows.

There goes that 3X most likely.
Actually I was getting this coding from another site, when paid with Citi ATTAM, and it posted 3x anyway.
Statement will close in 2 days.

My payment posted today on my American Express SPG... Category: Business Services - Other Services. Didn't code as travel, at least with American Express.

Thanks for the update. So it wasn't a payment from Plastiq that coded to miscellaneous government services?

Thanks again

No, it was Santa Clara County Department of Revenue.
But Plastiq now codes the same.

Interesting, and pretty surprsing since government payment are specifically excluded from getting bonus points in the T&C.

This was the reply I got from Plastiq:
The MCC is set by our processor, not by Plastiq directly, and can change and vary based on the payment being made and the card type being used. Our processor also makes adjustments from time to time, which is why you may see a change since the last payment.

We are happy to work with our processor to see if we can make a change that you would request, and need more information from you that we can supply to our processor Specifically, what exact card type are you using? (brand, rewards type, etc, and why is the category you are seeing an issue for your payment?).

The more detail you can share with us, the better we can work with our processor to try to make an adjustment.

Thanks for the info.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that this new coding from Plastiq for Rent/Mortgage payments will still generate 3X

Please let me know once your statement closes and you have a Plastiq payment coding to SERVICES- Misc Government Services yielding 3X

My statement wont close for 3 weeks!!

Thanks

Thank you! Now I am hopeful that my payments made through Plastiq coded as MISC GOVERNMENT SERVICES will earn 3X also.

Good news indeed.
