MO Purchase with a CC
 

I think I have inadvertently stumbled upon and captured a unicorn. My local grocery store that I normally do not shop at will allow me to purchase a money orders with my credit card.

The grocery store is a small chain with approximately 7 stores in the market. Taking it slow and spreading the wealth.

will 'allow'? I suspect miscommunication, try...will not ring up

Nope. I didn't believe it either, it seemed to good to be true. But I have been able to purchase now from 3 different stores.

Yep, check that it's not cash advance. I think CC can perfectly give you cash advance when you're using it in an ATM with a PIN. Did you enter your PIN during transaction?

Didn't use a pin. It has already posted on my Sapphire card as a purchase. I purchased the MO at the CS desk at the local grocery store. I also purchased a roll of shipping tape.

Take it for what it is worth, but like I said I captured a unicorn in the wild.

what does the transaction post as? A simple grocery store purchase?

now get one of those 5x grocery store cards...

Could not have mentioned that 'I purchased the MO' in your 1st post an hour ago? forgot to mention 'posted on my Sapphire card as a purchase'? (posting takes few days) are you surprised many feel your story questionable? enjoy your unicorn all u can, I am so jealous.....

Unless it's a small grocery store, not a like Ralphs, Albertsons, Vons, I can believe it kind of. But if it's a chain I know OP is lying.

Three......get a 5% card like OBC and ride that train till it goes off the tracks my friend!
