As of 9/18/21: WM loads are no longer free. WM will charge each load (no matter what the size) $3.74 in addition to the money being deposited into your Go Bank account.
GoBank fees and limits:
Cash deposits are limited to $2,500 per day and $3,000 per 30 days, subject to a maximum account balance of $50,000.
The monthly fee will accumulate if the account is dormant. You must call the phone number on the back to close the account.
5/29/19 - There may be a difference in which card gets free loads at WM. Getting the card online through GoBank.com sends out a Visa version. This card may not allow free loads at WM. Reports are that getting the card directly at WM will result in free loads. If anyone can confirm this, please do so.

The last GoB account a family member registered was back in June and it's MC and not charged any fees at WM when loading. If ever they made changes it must be sometime in July or August where they now charge fees to load at WM. IOW, GoB prepaids may no longer be a useful tool for MS for new registrants.

Anyone able to log-in on GoBank website to authorize a check? Keep getting an error message since Friday evening and I really want to send the check before Monday. Is a non pre-authorized check going to be rejected?

Try doing it via app, it just worked with 3 payments scheduled 10/1. The WMpreferred app is different from the app we use for in-store B/P.

Hmm, didn’t know there was an App for it. I’ve only accessed the account online. I’m having problems finding it. Feel free to pm me. I know it’s OT here, but the card is obsolete and not many people have it.

I had two separate GoBank loads on the same day for $400 each (2 different gobank cards back-to-back) where the funds have not posted to the account. I noticed this happened on August 2nd. All my other loads for each card have cleared. Is this a Walmart problem or a Gobank problem. I have all my receipts and the cards. Just wondering who I should start the process of finding my money with.
Even though I could not see the load when I logged into my GB account, the rep told me that he could see it on his end and that it had processed correctly on their end. It took about a month until my online statement posted with those load dates, but then I was able to verify everything.
I realized recently that I had a missing load too. On 10/24 I did two $400 loads back-to-back, each one split from two $200 GCs. Fortunately I still have the receipts...
Studying the receipts closely, I see that the first one says:
212.34 BEGINNING BALANCE
400.00 DEBIT LOAD
612.34 END BALANCE
But the funny thing is... the next load 2 minutes later says the exact same thing!
212.34 BEGINNING BALANCE
400.00 DEBIT LOAD
612.34 END BALANCE
(i.e. the balance didn't increase after the first load).
So... are you both saying you got your missing money taken care of without any action on your part other than waiting?
Thanks!

Sorry I'm not quite following- are you saying the missing loads appeared after your statement cycled? Or the "missing" funds were there all along but the loads just didn't show in the running register? I guess it is pretty hard to tell since they don't give you a running tally.

Your second question: I often do back to back loads because some of the cashiers at my locations get confused or suspicious if I ask to do a split load. The second receipt will NOT show an increase in my balance, just as you saw. For some reason, the GB balance doesn't immediately update following the first load. So you don't have a missing load. To verify that funds loaded properly, I sign on to GB either on my computer or by using the phone app. Initially the funds will show there as pending, and then the loads are complete a day or two later.
