for what purpose? Tmobile will shut you down if you use their BP service. So whats the point of reloading the card?

I was doing this and loading up BB @ WM way back when before I got shut down. There were tons of people who were getting instabanned for doing BP

No regrets... except not hitting them all harder !!!

PaulMSN Jan 8, 2016 3:12 pm

I used US savings bonds, some small bank that offered fee-free GCs that you could cash in at your bank, Microsoft's search engine promotion with the word games, and some of those mentioned above. All of those together didn't gain me anywhere near as many miles and points as I've earned in the last two years, though.

Ah, US Savings Bonds and Charter One gift cards. You've been doing this a while ;)

Nothing like buying multiple $5000 Savings Bonds on any credit card. Or opening bank accounts with tens of thousands in opening deposits charged to a CC.

Well, I couldn't do that much. I was still low on funds after living in Norway and coming back with a little over $1000 in my bank account. I could only afford a $1000 bond every 4-6 months at my new job.

redarmy Jan 8, 2016 4:53 pm

OBC, the parent of my current but capped OBC.

NoonRadar Jan 8, 2016 5:11 pm

Are we also supposed to also include really hot ex's & oh's in this thread or just MS venues? :D

I had a great Redbird lover y'all
Kept me warm in spring, left me frozen in fall
My, my, how the seasons go by

I was too late to the MS party :'(

sybloc Jan 8, 2016 9:39 pm

After my BC caps at the end of Feb I'm officially retiring from MS. Reward vs effort just isn't worth it anymore. A solid decade of hardcore MS. Can't (really) complain.

Big shout-outs to:

Uncapped BC
Uncapped BCP
Amex
Amex Prepaids
Safeway
Reloadit
OG Reloadit partners
Blackhawk Network
BHN Prepaids
US Bank Prepaids
Bluebird

Bing 35% Cashback @eBay

Oh and a big preemptive FU to the person that comes in here and exclaims "2016 is going to be the greatest MS year ever!!"

Stop it.

hawkandhoo Jan 8, 2016 9:40 pm

11. BankDirect (still available for smaller amounts, but with new caps, gone are the days when I was earning 40K+ AA miles per month) (in addition, the accounts used to be free, but now have a $12 monthly fee).

12. Capital One Rewards Checking (previously, a good source for Hyatt and other hotel/travel GCs).

Chelski Jan 8, 2016 9:44 pm

YMMV?

That was one of my classic ones. I had only real verified charges but was racking up huge numbers on that one. Never to be repeated again. Amex Gift cards (I used them for business) that was good for double dipping via portals. Those days are LONG over. I thought they might bring them back for Christmas but they did not.
