This thread is a continuation of the previous discussion located here.
See post #412 - Ordering gc's thru the Kroger site will post fuel points to the associated shopper card upon shipment of physical cards and email delivery for e-gc's. Points are earned in the same increments as if you bought them at the store (usually 2x or 4x if there is a promotion). Transactions are processed by GiftCardMall and therefore do not earn additional points/cb from your credit card issuer for a "supermarket purchase".

Anyone know what the debit card swipe limit is for billpay at Kroger? Found someone that appears to be willing to do as many as needed. Would 10 (or more) swipes be too many? I found 5 had no issues.

So you basically get 760 fuel points - which I value at $26.60 since I always get the maximum allowed 35 gallons of gas - for free.

Any recent DPs on buying VGCs at Kroger using multiple AGCs?
I'm thinking of going in for 4 x $200 AGCs using the AmEx $10/$200 offer and current no purchase fee & no shipping AGC web promo, but would rather have 1-2 $500 VGCs to liquidate. Thank you!

I had about a $65 transaction at Kroger owned store with a $25 AmEx Gift Card (had the digital coupon for $3.95 off) and a $25 Arco Gift Card, and some other grocery items.
To pay, I used an AmEx Gift Card which had a remaining balance of $60 on it (swiped card and machine wanted signature) and then paid the rest using my regular credit card (Chip card) and had no issues at all with it. I never even had to see the employee since this was at self checkout (store had the new software).
So I was able to use an AmEx Gift Card to buy another AmEx Gift Card. Maybe as long as you keep everything you are doing below $100...

I'm also in Hou... do you have experience getting MOs at HEB? is it as straightforward as Kroger used to be? esp w splitting payment for MOs. are there swipe limits, max per transaction?

I wouldn't go in looking for multiple MO's right off the back.

There are digital coupons that essentially take off all the activation fees for $25/50/100 fixed-price Amex GC's ($3.95/4.95/5.95 off), I bought one of each today and paid a grand total of $175 PLUS I got 4x fuel points, i.e. a total of 760 pts - NOT only 700 points as for some reason you also get the 4x points on the $14.85 in fees that are taken off by the digital coupons.
So you basically get 760 fuel points - which I value at $26.60 since I always get the maximum allowed 35 gallons of gas - for free.

Can you not use a $25 AGC to purchase a $25 AGC (when the reduced fee makes the total purchase 24.99)?

I have a question. Could I use a 25 dollar and a 50 dollar AGC and my own CC to purchase a 100 dollar visa one at self check out without the employee? Thank you.
