Yup just logged on to say i got the letter...

MAX inital load 100$

Max Reload Weekly 200$

The end is near... this would still net you 2$ per card per week on a 2% card. As much as I hate to admit it, 500$ a week for a teen is a bit unrealistic, there is no way a teen would need that much money...

Now I am wondering if since it says per week, we could wait it out and do a single 800$ load per month, but I don't see that happening.

Anyone else wiling to share a similar card to NW here or willing to pm to give me any info? I am a poor college student using ms to float (some of) my college loans interest free via my credit cards monthly... any opportunities you would be willing to share would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks -CJ

I just got the CSP and I dropped my cash advance limit to $100. I tried a $500 load to NW (still says Between $10.00 and $500.00), and it did not go through. Tried $200, failed. Tried $100, failed. Tried $98 failed. My last load on the SW card was about 2 weeks ago.

What gives?!

EDIT: Just tried $50 on my SW card--it works. I wonder what's wrong with the CSP.

Maybe the transaction was getting blocked by Chase as suspected fraud. It is apparently a new card for you. You should call them up to see if they were the ones preventing it.

Yup -_-

This. I did warn them this would happen, but they did not notate my account previously.

As has been discussed many many times, Chase initially processes NW Buxx loads as a Cash Advance. Therefore, your CA limit must be at least the amount you are loading + $2. So you need to increase it. The reason your $98 load probably failed was due to the repeated failed attempts you had beforehand.

Maybe I'm missing something.

Max Reload Weekly will become $200

So if you set up automatic weekly reloads on the website, won't that mean you'd be loading $800 during most months (4 week periods)?

Or I can do the math another way. New system:
$200 per week x 52 weeks per year = $10,400 per year
If cost per reload remains $2, total yearly cost is $2 x 52 weeks = $104 (which is a 1% cost)

Under the old system:
$1000 per month x 12 months per year = $12,000 per year
yearly reload cost for $500 reloads was $4 per month or $48 per year (which is a 0.4% cost)

I think that's a pretty sound analysis. Going from 0.4% to 1% is a definitely a big step backwards, but the effort required is still pretty low. I will continue to use mine for sign up bonuses at least, and maybe for regular loading with a 2% card.

Maximum number of reloads reached

Not sure why this is happening, but I am running into issues loading card #3. I was able to load $500 per card (3 total) the last couple of months, but having issues loading #3 today. Anyone else having that issue today?

EDIT: I have tried various credit cards and they all failed.

I ran into the same problem yesterday. I called Rep and wat she told me is that I can do $1k every month. I am like I know tat very well. But they count one month from ur last $1k load. So if you did say $500 on 8th Dec n than $500 on dec 15 thru jan1st, ur next load date will be Jan 9th. I hope it makes sense.

This is not true. It's 30 days, period. So your next load is actually Jan 7th.

It is 30 days I have a model that tells me when my next load date is. Even it that was the case, it still doesn't explain why the first 2 cards loaded fine and third is giving issues. I always load them all on the same date.

I've had sporadic issues where things just don't work. I can never explain why and I just give up. Issues with the system I always assume. However, the rule is still 30 days.

I will still use this as a tool but it moves towards the back of the toolkit vs near the front where it has been

At least they didn't enact a monthly service fee
