Chase Freedom 10x Amazon 2 cards

Hi,

I have 2 Chase Freedom cards and I am trying to maximize my 10x bonus at Amazon - looking at 30k UR points here!

What are in your opinions the best gift cards to buy and resell in order to maximize rewards/minimize spend?

Thanks!

If you are like most people, you probably make regular amazon purchases. You are better off simply stockpiling amazon gift cards in your own account for future purchases, instead of taking the loss in reselling them at a discount.

I talked to some coworkers and ordered some of their xmas presents. I plan to stockpile some amazon GCs to use for the next few months on the rest of it.

Yeah I have $1640 in Amazon credit just sitting there. :)

YMMV.

I wish this were the case. At the rate the wife spends on Christmas and personal, there is no need for a GC. :)

BTW, audible/prime/etc. subscriptions always renew in December for us. Chase is like clockwork with the quarterly 5%, and we max both Freedom cards every year with it. At 10%, and the ability to transfer to partners, this is like 20-30% off of amazon. That's about as free money as you're gonna get.

I would love to just buy 3 $500's but I already have $400 something and another $1500 would take me a very long time to spend down.

you can buy e-mail GCs for whole foods and use them to stock up on groceries.

You can also buy Starbucks gift cards...

I will be glad to take your $3k in Amazon GCs. You can keep the 30k UR points.

Just FYI you can't buy GCs with Amazon GCs so you'll have to decide up front what kind of split you want

I've bought just about everything I can imagine I might need in the next year (from amazon). Will sure miss this 10X deal when it expires in a few days. Hope they do the same thing next year!

I have been carefully tracking my spend on this promotion.... to make sure that I hit the $1,500 by Dec. 31.

Then, I noticed that the 3 or 4 items I purchased through amazon.co.uk are not getting the bonus points.

Mind you, I am not complaining -- the promotion is quite generous. I just need to up my game a little bit.

(Other fans of Colman's mustard and Walker's shortbread might take note.....)

Netflx gift cards! I bought enough to fund my Netflix habit until next year.
