Base SoCal. I used to buy MO at PO with vanilla gc (not OV) issued by Bancorp. without any issue. This morning when I tried to buy another one. The rep said no funds available. I tried to with two cards. There is no possibility that the card is not activated. Then I went the grocery store and it worked. If possible I will try another PO. But I do have a bad feeling.

Expect that it may be location dependent. In FlyerTalk terms, YMMV.
I have done this in the past. But I do it very, very rarely because so many people say that PP is quick to shut down accounts when there is activity they consider suspicious.

DP: USB MGC with pin worked today at PO for single swipe (NorCal) - don't want to push my luck with split tender as this PO knows me and is aware of MS game.

What really is amazing is, it seems some people still dont know which banks issue what, not to mention reporting Meta not working is worthless by now. If and when Meta suddenly works again, or, Bankcorp suddenly fails - THEN it is worth a lot to post. Otherwise, as you said - lots of noise that adds no value.

If by OV/V you mean OneVanilla / Vanilla - US Bank does not issue any card of vanilla flavor.
What really is amazing is, it seems some people still dont know which banks issue what, not to mention reporting Meta not working is worthless by now. If and when Meta suddenly works again, or, Bankcorp suddenly fails - THEN it is worth a lot to post. Otherwise, as you said - lots of noise that adds no value.
