PPBDMC

Does anyone know if the PayPal Business Debit Mastercard work? If so, does it get 1% back on Plastiq payments?

Playing with fire could get yourself burned. Stay away from Paypal card.

If it's a credit card purchase, I see no reason why PPBDMC woulnd't work

But you were billed 1.99% as credit, correct? Or did you run it as debit?

This looks interesting. Would be better than paying my landlord via Paypal from bank account. Does my landlord have to set up an account with Plastiq to receive payments from me online much like Paypal? Landlord lives far away so can't really pay via check unless mailed to him. Thanks.

Your landlord would not have to set up an account. They'll just mail him a check in your name

Doesn't Plastiq do some sort of verification check to make sure biller is real? Or else your brother could be your landlord

Don't know. They have a chat feature so you could create an account and ask in chat.

My mortgage bank is Flagstar, which isn't already listed in Plastiq's inventory of billers. I'm going to manually type in "Flagstar Bank" and use the billing statement's PO Box as the address. I looked up a variety of billers including Wells Fargo for my other mortgage and Ally for my car lease; none of these are pre-listed in Plastiq. Has everybody's transactions gone through promptly with no problems? I want to meet min spend by early next week; it's either this or gift cards.

My mortgage company wasn't listed and I had to manually enter the address, etc. Plastiq sent out a check and it went thru in about 5 days. Worked perfectly fine for me

I just submitted a recurring payment to my Flagstar mortgage yesterday afternoon to meet the minimum spend on my Citi AA Exec. I thought there would be a pending charge immediately (like Evolve), but there wasn't and the expected date was listed as 8/9 (today). Today, still no pending charge or alert. I'm concerned that if my card is charged on Monday (tomorrow), it won't post in time for me to get the 75K AA until next month. At this point, I'm thinking of just paying the extra 1% and paying my mortgage on Evolve, but I can't even find the Plastiq transaction to cancel it. I don't know if the delayed transaction is because it is the weekend right now.
