I managed to purchase 5 gift cards (5 *200$) with manager override. They initially said cash only but later figured they can accept card for fixed value gift cards.
I immediately took it to Walmart Money Center (Automated machine) and tried to use the gift cards to load my serve account. This failed and when I checked my vanillavisa.com website, I saw a message "Denied : Delayed Redemption". Called customer center and they said I can load only after 90 mins, I tried after 90 mins as well.. No luck... has anyone had the luck of loading into Serve card?

1) Money Order
2) BlueBird 5k limit - bill Pay
3) RedBird 5k limit - bill Pay
Emerald, Paypal, Tmo and few more debit cards I have them all but stopped using because the accounts cancel/close issues...difficult to comply with their BS - T&C, I feel they are all unreliable, eventually everyone falls in the trap.

My takeaway from this is that you have to test a strategy from start to finish before you go out and spend on Step 1 without knowing how to close the deal (i.e., pay back the purchase). I'd guess that those who bought a gazillion vanilla cards knew exactly how they were going to liquidate before they ever pulled the trigger. I'd love to know how they do it, but so much low hanging fruit to consume while I wait to figure that out. Wow -- very impressive to me to obtain 7x thousand UR points and knowing how to pull that off.

Just loaded nine $100 Vanillas tonite on my KATE to my Serve. Took a while, like 1 minute per $49.99 load, but easy, no glitches, and free points.
Sure I miss the VR days, we all do. But hey, this is still free points, just takes a bit longer.

Went by OD this evening, since I was at the grocery store next door. The clerk recognized me from last week, and as I came up with a handful of MCGC said "hey I don't think that's working anymore". Said they had heard it was going to be fixed. But I had him start one through, and it showed $100.00. So I picked up the last 6 $100 MCGC they had. Guess any update they made hasn't percolated out to POS in the stores as of April 5th evening at least.

Guess you missed last July's Visa Checkout bonanza on Staples.com. They had a promotion running for $25 off $100 purchases for new accounts. For about 18 hours you could make new Visa Checkout accounts for every order placed and the discount worked on VGCs. I personally ordered 65 and paid $181.95 for each $200 VGC. I know others did even more. $18 profit plus 910 UR per VGC. For me that's the deal/mistake pricing that I'll always remember.

You can certainly use Vanilla VGCs right away. I bought some at OD and about 10 minutes later I was able to dump the cards at FD.

I was actually kind of disturbed at the time that Chase did not throw a fraud alert for 65 back to back transactions of the exact same amount. But nope, didn't hear a peep from them. Even my mail man said something when 130 yellow and white envelopes showed up over the course of a week.

Could someone please pm me regarding how to unload the 200$ fixed value Vanilla Visa. I am reading through the threads but haven't found any ways yet. I am sure I eventually will but trying to find it sooner.
Finally
1) Can the 200$ Vanilla Visa still be unloaded in 49.99$ increments in Kate? I havent used Vanlilla visa in a long time so just want to be sure.
