my app actually did show a code, but it looked just like a "sample" code, as it was very small and basically was like an illustration of "show the cashier". when i returned to the app the next time to actually tap to pay though, it was gone.

please update if anyone receives their 20!

In the terms & conditions it didn't state a minimum amount that the TAP purchase needed to be. So I just split purchase for 25 cents for 2 of my cards I added.

Anyone have an opinion on this?

I did the same & in my opinion should work without any threshhold amount for transaction.

I just received a 40$ giftcard from them so it works. My experience leaves questions unanswered.

I spent >1$ on two different Amex cards. Unable to add cards from other institutions.

Same. Got $40 from two Amex cards, spending exactly $1 on each. I was unable to add my Chase cards.
